Safer Footing
Algae makes wet concrete slick. A clean deck is safer for kids, guests and everyone running to the water.
Concrete Pool Deck Cleaning
Pool Deck Cleaning in Lake Norman, NC
Algae turns a pool deck slick and grimy fast. We clean away the green and the slippery film so your deck looks great and feels safer under bare feet.
Why Pool Decks Need Regular Cleaning
A pool deck is wet almost all summer. Splash, wet feet, sprinklers and humid Lake Norman air keep the concrete damp, and that's all algae and mildew need. Sunscreen, pollen and leaves add to it, and soon the deck is dark, blotchy and slippery.
We clean pool decks like the rest of your concrete, with joints sprayed out, an even surface clean and a post treatment that brightens the concrete and helps it stay clean longer. We work carefully along the edge of the pool and around the coping the whole time.
Pool fences and nearby siding often need it too, and they can be cleaned in the same visit.
See everything we do on our driveway and concrete cleaning page.
Why a Clean Pool Deck Matters
Safer, brighter and ready for summer.
Looks Like New
Dark spots and green patches come off, so the deck matches the clean pool next to it.
Ready for Summer
A spring cleaning gets the deck ready before the first swim of the season.
Done Carefully
We work around the pool edge, coping and equipment with care from start to finish.
Pool Deck Cleaning Around Lake Norman
Pool decks around Lake Norman, especially in shaded backyards and on lakefront lots, grow algae faster than most concrete. We clean them all around the lake and in Charlotte.

What Your Neighbors Say About CaroClean
Real reviews from real customers, copied word for word from our Google Business Profile.
Highly recommend CaroClean Pressure Washing! We had them clean the exterior of our house along with our driveway, sidewalks, and both our front and back patio areas, and the results were exceptional. The difference before and after was incredible. Areas of the siding and concrete that had built-up dirt, grime, and discoloration look clean and refreshed again.
They did a very thorough job and paid attention to the entire property rather than rushing through it. Our driveway, sidewalks, and patio look dramatically better, and the exterior of the house looks fantastic.
The pricing was also very fair for the amount of work completed. We never felt overcharged, especially considering the quality of the results. We are extremely happy with the work and would absolutely use CaroClean Pressure Washing again. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional pressure washing or exterior cleaning!

Caz recently power washed my parents’ home in Mooresville and I cannot say enough amazing things about him! He arrived EARLY (I know, unheard of nowadays), he was extremely knowledgeable of what he was doing and he came up with a game plan for the project and my parents were privy and apart of the process every step of the way. On my behalf of my parents, there aren’t enough stars to share how awesome Caz is. We look forward to working with him in the future. Many people have worked on my parents’ house and Caz is the keeper. His prices are EXTREMELY REASONABLE. great kid, great service!

Pool Deck Cleaning Questions
Have a different question? Find more answers on the full pressure washing FAQ.
When is the best time to clean a pool deck?
Spring, before swim season starts. Decks that get heavy use or sit in the shade often benefit from a second cleaning late in the summer.
Can you clean my pool fence too?
Yes. Vinyl, wood and composite pool fences can be cleaned in the same visit.
Will cleaning make my pool deck less slippery?
Cleaning removes the algae film that makes wet concrete slick. It doesn't change the texture of the concrete itself.
Do you clean the pool itself?
No. We clean the concrete deck around your pool, along with fences and nearby surfaces.
